John Bond will be able to help you, great company and awesome customer service. The W is my go to tool now. Love it!
easy to promote quality, turners need to see how good these tools are.
Hi there! So I have only recently started turning...my dad taught me the basics when I was 13..but back then I hated every moment..Now almost 30years later..I have fallen in love with it. I became a quadriplegic 14 years ago - and the ability to create like this is beyond magical. Bev Bond - to you specifically - Thankyou for your amazing service - I am currently using the mini set of Blackline tools...and am extremely happy with the results!!!
The BlackLine Tool Company, the tools is very easy and safe to use on woodturning.
No sanding, is French oak...👍
My very first pen using BlackLine tools. WOW!!!!
They cut this stabilised Buckeye like butter leaving a super smooth finish.....
I need to practice a bit more but from first use I’m in love with them.
Amazing how clean it cuts though the hard ebony and aluminium without shuttering or break out.
See the ease of cut between the aluminium and Ebony..
My BlackLine tools arrived yesterday. They are absolutley amazing. The NR cutters leave an amazing finish and the parting tool is without a doubt the best I've ever used, total game changer. Thanks for all you help buddy.
I tried for a long time with Sorby carbide tools and never got the results I got with your tools, in fact that is how come you and I first communicated with each other, I was dead set against carbide for wood turning
I’ve had the Sorby set, sold them. Sold all my other carbide sets. Recorded the video as I’d said I’d send some pics. Obviously nowhere near as informative as you but just wanted them to see them. They’re not just great performing tools, they’re extremely aesthetically pleasing and that’s what I wanted to show.
You will have to go a long way to find the kind of service Bev offers again.
Hello, just started back turning after several years away due to family health issues. Learned to turn with HSS tools.Yes, this is "just" a Streamline kit with American cherry blank. Very common by most turner standards and from the marvelous things I see on this group, but a great personal accomplishment I wanted to share.Used BlackLine Tool Mini W with great encouragement, mentorship and vids from John Bond for this first BlackLine pen, next step was 7 manual coats of Craft Coat by Shed-Life with the lathe off, then Eddie Stone polishes 1K through 80K.With this first BlackLine Tool crafted pen, I used NO sanding of any type and only detected one slight tool mark at the nib end. Still have a learning curve for tool angling position, but want to encourage any other starters or restarters out there how enjoyable and safe turning can be with BlackLine Tools and Stone Pastes. The shine on this pen is more than the photo shows due to our cloudy, cold day here in Indiana.Hope this is an encouragement to someone who needs it today. Continual improvement and passion make the journey enjoyable. Thanks for looking.
Today I saw you a nice technique that my friend Lorin share to me !
